Intelligent Email provides functionality in SAP Business
One to send marketing documents and statements via email
Emailing Single Documents
Within SAP Business One you can define if you want the
documents to be delivered to a default contact and / or to the contact set on the marketing
document.
On each marketing document Intelligent Email adds an
email button with a tick box (figure1)
By clicking on the email button Intelligent
Email
• Launches the email
client
• Adds the email
addresses
• Attaches the PDF
• Adds default text to the body of the
email
• And adds a subject line which is the
document type and the document number.
By selecting the auto tick box Intelligent Email will
automatically send the email without opening the default email client.

Intelligent Email also supports the sending out of individual statements. From the
Business Partner master screen you can simply click email statement and Intelligent Email will send
it via email
Batch Emailing
Marketing Document
Intelligent email also
supports batch emailing of Statements and Marketing
documents. Within this
Window A user can select
• Select which type of document to
send.
• Select a document range
• Select a posting date
• Select a range of BP options
including properties
• Select Open only, documents that have
not been
sent
• Documents that have not been
printed
The user can also select to preview before
sending.
Once the batch button is clicked it will automatically send
the Documents and update the status field to emailed or printed.

Statements
Intelligent E-mail’s Batch email of statements functionality enables a user to select a
range of Business Partners including Sales Employees and BP properties.
The
user can then select the aging date and opt to preview the statements before sending them
out.
